Monica Bhide Yes, I love pork… I am a huge, huge fan. I was so delighted to be asked to write a story on the topic for my favorite magazine. As I was researching the story, I came across this quote: Colonial Virginians ate so much pork that 18th-century writer William Byrd said they were prone to grunt rather than speak. I guess it should be no surprise that I live in VA and love it here 🙂
