For all of you who knew about this and did not tell me, I am officially upset with you. How could you keep this a secret from me? I discovered this by accident earlier this week. Korean Citron Tea – OMG. I am in love. It looks like a marmalade and I dont think it has any real tea in it. But you add a tablespoon to a cup, add boiling water and then sip your way to nirvana.

  1. It’s really good on a cold Winter’s night. I can take 3 cups if I’m greedy!

  2. I’ve never heard of it!! But I intend to track it down and try it in Sunset Magazine’s “Marmalade Sour” recipe–a tangy riff on the Whiskey Sour.

Let’s see if I have the skills to post a link to the recipe:

  3. I once went to a dinner party where the host used it to make salad dressing in honor of my husband who is Korean. If you like this sort of thing, maybe you’ve also heard of honey powder, which can be used to substitute sugar when cooking.

  4. The parents of my Korean students swear by the abilities of this stuff to prevent/ cure the common cold. I get a jar as a gift every year from some student.
