  10. I’d like to win the Bahn Mi Handbook because my husband and I used to live in the heart of Little Saigon in Westminster, CA. We love and enjoyed Vietnamese cuisine every day, sometimes twice a day. Now we reside in Phoenix, AZ where Vietnamese food is not as readily available, unless you’re prepared to drive quite a bit. We miss it! I’m also always looking for ideas for lunch for my husband and kids, so owning this book would be awesome!????????

  11. I saw the rave reviews of your book. Wishing you much success. I cook food from all over the world, including Indian and Vietnamese recipes. I have yet to make a decent banh mi, though 😉

  12. I follow you on all social media and same with Andrea. I enjoy her recipes and read her posts, follow her on nearly all her platforms. Best of all, how can I resist Bahn Mi ?! Thanks and hope I win 🙂

  13. growing up in America with a American Father and a Vietnamese Mother. My mom’s culture is often ignored.. Even though she raised us on the typical “Americanized” Vietnamese food. I would love to share some of these Recipes with her. The foods of different cultures tells the story of their people. I have a young daughter( 75% Viet and 25% Caucasian) who will be raised with an appreciation for both cultures. I would love to win this….

At the age of ten I was taught to be afraid of food because any food I put in my mouth would make me fat. In the last year I decided that food wasn’t my enemy, it was the words breathed into me. For the first time I look at food as my friend. I am cooking meals nationally and internationally to experience other cultures, but more importantly, to allow my taste buds to soak in what is has missed for far to long. The love of food!

  15. i have made a roast duck Bahn Mie and want to learn more.

  16. As much as a foodie that I am, this is one genre of food I haven’t explored. Would love to have the book to learn about the food and flavors. It would be the first cooking and tasting on my very own.

  17. I try to learn cooking mostly from books and I love cooking Asian in addition to several other cuisines. However, I have not tried the Vietnamese yet and If I win this book(hoping I win with the little luck that I have) that would be a start to my learning to cook Vietnamese cuisine.
